E-billing has been used extensively in Estonia and the EU for years already and there are more and more ecommerce software that enables e-billing. But a unified and all-inclusive solution has’t yet been found in Estonia. The dialogue between the state and the private sector is inevitable.
The member of the management board of accounting bureau Vesiir OÜ and partner Enno Lepvalts find that the overall sending status of e-invoicing is good at the moment. “The trend is growing, but to a small extent. It’s seen that smaller businesses have a lot of room for improvement, ” he says, adding that when sending e-invoices, he does not see any other obstacles than the capacity of the software used. ” But a different story is about adoption.
